Elementalist 2. I'd reccomend Scourge probably if you want to be fairly versatile, Firebrand is much needed in zergs but you'll need a very different build to roam vs the support you'd run in a zerg. So from my experience in general PvE, high fractals and raids mainly, here are my lists according to these scales: Hard: mesmer, engineer, elementalist (many skills, many combos, more counter intuitive mechanics, punished for mistakes), Medium: revenant (weird resource management), thief (weak passive defenses), Easy: warrior, ranger, necromancer, guardian (intuitive mechanics, resilient), Kit engineer: nothing comes close, easily the hardest. They also spend a lot of time locked into long animations (Frost Bow #4 / #5, Meteor Storm, Overloads, etc), so your positioning and timing need to be on point while you're casting them to make sure you don't get killed while doing so. Often has involved roles within the group such as reflect upkeep. Bad positioning will get an Elementalist killed before any other class.
